Wandering in Westfields . . .
Today I have a few items to share with you; I recently took a trip to Westfield’s, in Shepherd’s Bush with my friends and caught some good deals whilst out browsing.
Firstly, I have invested in a new pair of Uggs from Kurt Geiger. The pair I am replacing were amazing; they were in the colour SAND and were in the ‘Classic Bailey Button’ collection. I got them as a Christmas present from my Dad in 2010 so I have had them for just over 1 year, they are fantastic and have lasted me such a long time considering I wore them everywhere, but I decided they were looking a bit worn out and that I needed an upgrade. So I purchased some very similar but they are from the ‘Mini Bailey Button’ collection and are in the colour CHESNUT. They are beautiful and were quite cheap at £155.
My second purchase was from my favourite shop in the whole world . . . MAC. I bought 2 lovely items.
The first being MAC’s ‘Amplified Crème Lipstick’ in the shade ‘ A perfect day’. I have been searching far and wide for the perfect pinky/nude lipstick that wasn’t a pleasant shade of tack and eventually I found it. I adore this lipstick, the colouring is subtle but really does brighten up my whole face.
This lipstick was £13.50, and was part of their new collection ‘M.A.C, Naturally’. It is a really pretty shade will suit any skin complexion.
My second item from MAC was their ‘Mineralize Skinfinish Natural’ in medium/dark. I bought MACs ‘Mineralize Satinfinish Foundation’ in shade NW35 a few weeks ago and I instantly loved this foundation so I thought I would buy the pressed powder to complete the look. The ‘Mineralize’ collection from MAC is my favourite collection to date, the products are so smooth to apply and don’t leave you looking like you’ve just baked a cake on your face.
This product was £20.50, a bit pricey but is better than any high street powder I have ever bought. It is definitely worth saving for.
After purchasing my items from MAC I was pleasantly surprised to see that they had given me some samples for free, I am a sucker for samples so this really did make my day.
They gave me 6ml sample of their ‘Pro Eye Makeup Remover’ and a 1.4g sample of their ‘Zoom Lash’ mascara. First of all I want to comment on how utterly adorable they look, I love everything mini. Being quite short myself, I believe that good things come in small packages. I haven’t tried these products yet, but I will definitely do a review very soon.
